Discovering the burned volcanic land and the churches of Santorini

 SANTORINI is the island of fire, according to the legend of the lost Atlantis. It is the most photogenic island in the word with its glittering white capital hanging there, on the black cliffs. On arrival in Santorini, our bus will pick you up and take you first to Pyrgos, then to Oia and finally the attractive town of Fira (the capital). 

Santorini island is completely different from all the other Cycladic islands and its wild and imposing beauty is characterised by its endless beaches of red and black pebbles, the domes of the houses built into the red rock, the grand old mansions and their courtyards laid with brightly coloured pebbles, the two Cathedrals (Catholic & Orthodox) its picturesque capital and the monastery of Panagia of Rodiarios.

There will be plenty of time to stroll around the beautiful alleyways, admire the breathtaking views and maybe visit "Kameni" (Burned), the black island with the volcano, where you can walk about an hour through the burned land with the exquisite view
