Airlines

Scheduled: Regular all year, and seasonal flights to Santorini from Athens, Thessaloniki, Mykonos and Rhodes. Departure and arrival times are subject to change.

Transport on the Island

Bus Services

Bus timetables change regularly according to the season. Always check for the valid schedules.

Prices range between 0,95 euro to 1,50 euro. The main Bus Depot is below central square of Fira.

In Peak season there is an Express bus to Perissa & Perivolos. Please note that they are often cancelled.

Routes

Fira to the port

There is always a service 50-60 min before ship departure and back to Fira after every arrival

Fira to Oia

Every 30 min in high season, 60 minutes otherwise.

Fira to Perissa

Via Karterados, Messaria, Pyrgos, Emporio, Megalochori and Perivolos. Every 25 min in high season, 60 minutes at other times.

Fira to Kamari

Via Karterados & Messaria. Every 15 min in high season, 30 minutes at other times

Fira to Airport

Via Karterados, Messaria & Monolithos every 60mins

Santorini Taxis, Central Square / Fira

The main taxi stand is just below Fira square, next to the old bus depot (now used for parking bikes & mopeds)

Minimum charges start at 2 euro. Sharing a taxi is normal, although each party is considered as a separate fare. Night charges apply between 00:00 & 0500 as do luggage charges.

An average fare to the port from Fira would be about 10 euros, Fira to Oia would be about 8 euros during the day.
