THE FAMOUS BREAKFAST

A charming courtyard provides a pleasant and friendly environment for a leisurely breakfast available from 8.30am to 1.30pm. The breakfasts at Heliotopos are truly unique. A lavish buffet including a selection of home-made specialties - hot and cold - and freshly baked "Heliotopos" bread. On site cook, prepares a different Greek pie and a different cake every day and is at your disposal for any special requests due to special diet etc. Although plentiful, we aim for low in fat, low cholesterol, not too sweet, healthy, yet very tasty with an interesting presentation. Our breakfasts are suitable for vegetarians, but please let us know in advance if you are vegan.

SPECIAL EVENT: WINE TASTING

Every Tuesday night, at 19.30, Heliotopos will host an evening of free wine tasting to its guests (for non-residents a reservation in advance needs to be made).

A wine specialist will give an introduction to the different wines and a description of wine-producing in Santorini and other wine regions of Greece. A selection of homemade food (finger buffet style) is offered after the wine-tasting. The event finishes at around 21.30. You are welcome to extend the evening and further wine will be charged by glass or bottle.

High quality wine tasting glasses are used for each event. Representatives of wineries whose wines are presented are also invited to the wine tasting events and have the opportunity to take part in the discussions and give more details about the wines they produce

MEETINGS AT HELIOTOPOS

Heliotopos guarantees success for every group of up to 15 people seeking an inspiring place for any of today's multi-dimensional professional meetings. You will have the rare opportunity to hold your meeting in a 400 year old cave, created out of the deep soft volcanic rock. Walk from Heliotopos to Fira

Take a walk from Heliotopos to Fira. Enjoy the famous caldera walk along the cobblestones to the city. Direct from the hotel, you step out onto the pathway. This downhill walk takes you from Imerovigli into Firostefani and finally you arrive in the capital of Santorini, Fira. Remember your camera!

Take a walk after eating a delicious breakfast and arrive in time to visit the Museum of Prehistoric Thira, and then head off to the beach for a relaxing swim. Alternatively walk at dusk, whilst watching the sunset over the volcano. You will arrive in Fira in perfect time for a cocktail and an early dinner at one of Fira many local tavernas or gourmet restaurants.

Volcano
