As you follow the road that goes back to Parikia town, on the left side you will encounter the road that goes to Punda - the small port that links Paros with Antiparos island. The village of Antiparos has a nice harbour street lined by small cafes, tavernas and ouzeris, where you can enjoy a meal or a drink watching the colourful fishing boats. It's worth visiting the Medieval castle of Antiparos, built at the beginning of 1400s, and a very nice market street, full of nice shops offering very good prices. The cave of Antiparos is also an interesting place to visit as it is
the biggest in Cyclades with very important history and nice stalactites
and stalagmites. The depth of this cave is something that makes it
unique as the bottom of the cave is under the level of the sea. The
entrance of the cave is located on the top of a hill 12km away from the
town. You can visit some of the most fantastic beaches in the island,
the beaches of Soros, Agios Georgios, and closer to the town Psaraliki
and Sifneikos yialos |
