Naxos Night life & Restaurants  

     During the season night-life is mainly concentrated at the "Paralia", the waterfront in Chora. Besides touristical snack bars and restaurants there are typical local taverns, like "Limanakis", "Elli's", "Boulamatsis" and "Apolafsis". 

     Some places arrange Greek nights in the summer, for those who are not interested in the big clubs, like "Ocean", "Super Island" and "Cream". Another kind of entertainment is offered by the open-air cinema "Cine Astra" and the romantic concerts of "Venezian Museum".

     On the beachfront drive and in the small side streets exist dozens of coffee shops, bars, big clubs and live-music places. St. Prokopios and St. Anna have nightlife as well. In northern Naxos there are bars in a lot of villages.

     On certain dates - on the name date of the patron saint -, all villages of the island have folk fairs with dances and traditional life music played by local bands and musicians. In Chora as well as in the villages there is a plenty of choices for food: Traditional taverns, "mezedopolia", restaurants with tastes ranging from local and Greek to international cuisine!

  The visitor will find fish taverns with truly fresh fish and restaurants of all kinds in most of the beach areas (St. Anna, Plaka, Kastraki, Pirgaki, etc.)
