Naxos / Naxos Beach Guide
Agia Anna
Agia Anna, lies after St Prokopios beach - one can say it is its extension. It took its name from the small white chapel which is located in the top of the hill of Agia Anna.
The biggest part is sandy but there are points where it's rocky, the area around the small church is rocky (nudists beach).
The village of Agia Anna is smaller than Agios Prokopios but still offers good facilities to tourists, nice fish tavernas, open disco bars, coffee shops can be found also here. The small fishing port of Agia Anna is picturesque. There one sees the fishing boats sailing early in the evening and coming back the next morning full of fishes.
The area behind the chapel of Agia Anna is unique for the beauty of its nature, covered from small cedar trees, that only grow in Egypt and Naxos. This small part is always Green, even in the middle of the summer.
